Agile Management and Tailoring
Kelsey Kah
Most projects don’t fail for lack of a methodology. They fail because the methodology doesn’t fit the team. This resource teaches students to choose the right approach, whether predictive, adaptive, or hybrid, and then tailor it to their organization. From there, they learn agile from the ground up: roles, events, and artifacts, product backlogs built from epics, features, and user stories, and Scrum ceremonies. They also practice stakeholder engagement, prioritization and estimation, value-focused reviews, retrospectives that improve teams, and closing out a project. Students leave able to apply agile with judgment rather than follow it by the book.
