Tools like Tableau can do many, many cool things to enhance data visualizations that we don't have time to cover in this course. However, there are a few more useful features of Tableau that we should cover that will help us continue to understand the data more thoroughly before moving on to predictive analytics. We focus here on 1) creating calculated fields and 2) cluster analysis. Although forecasting is not a major focus of this course, it is a common analyses for time-series data and easy to perform in Tableau. Therefore, we also briefly cover forecasting in this chapter (although verify with your instructor that it is required).
